Jose Rodriguez is a Consultant and Trainer with 25 years of extensive experience in food safety and quality systems for the food processing industry. He is a hands-on professional dedicated to surpassing the regular standards and to improving the knowledge and practice of employees.

Mr. Rodriguez, with his knowledge and skills in food safety, allows him to identify potential risks, non-conformances and provide corrective and preventive action, and create process improvement. He is a self-motivated and great professional trainer to provide knowledge, wisdom, and direction to companies whose main interest is to implement and maintain a high level of food safety and quality culture.

Jose earned a BS in Food Biochemical Engineering from the Instituto Tecnologico de Tijuana, México. He has provided help to family businesses, small, medium, and large companies. He is a primusGFS, Food safety in the retail industry, certified ISO 9001-2015 Lead Auditor, certifications in Food Defense, Food Fraud, Food Safety Manager, Better Process Control, Risk Assessment, Internal Auditor, Foreign Supplier Verification Program (FSVP), and others. His diverse knowledge and expertise in the food industry include high-risk processing in USDA and Ready-to-eat food (RTE) fresh and frozen meal and products, High-Pressure Processing (HPP), bakery and confectionery products, thermally processed and commercially sterile products, single strength juices, thermally processed sauces, salsas, canned goods, dips, pasta items, distribution and warehouse storage practices, and nutraceuticals. He held the positions of VP of Quality and Continuous Improvement, Technical Director, Corporate QA Manager, Project Coordinator, and others in the Food Manufacturing Industry. Jose Rodriguez is fluent in English and Spanish.
